Springs on AUDI A3 Schrägheck (8P1) (05.2003 - 08.2012) / SEAT Leon II Schrägheck (1P1) (07.2005 - 12.2012) / SKODA Octavia II Combi (1Z5) (02.2004 - 06.2013) / VW Jetta Mk6 (162, 163, AV3, AV2) (04.2010 - ...) cars should be changed, as a rule, according to one and the same procedure.

03:00 - Remove the fastening bolt.
03:46 - Disconnect the ball joint from the arm.
04:18 - Remove the suspension strut.
05:29 - Remove the spring.
05:50 - Install the spring on the shock absorber.
06:44 - Decompress the spring.
07:21 - Fix the shock absorber strut on the steering knuckle.
08:09 - Install the drive shaft.
09:47 - Clean the brake disk surface.
11:00 - Install and secure the cowl grille.

The axle bolt is not 27, 12 point socket, it's a 24/12point socket .

Just love how all these nuts & bolts fall off & tap out - almost as if they were removed and put back just before turning the camera on. Anyone who has had to deal with steel bolts corrosion welding into alloy, please agree…
